Dr Nakul V Karkare is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in limb reconstruction and joint replacement surgery, owning & operating multiple clinics throughout Long Island New York.

He completed Joint Replacement Surgery and Metabolic Bone Disease training at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, and holds and MS degree in biomedical materials engineering from SUNY.

Dr. Karkare critically thinks and understands each and every patient’s unique needs when it comes to joint replacements, and has operating privileges at Lenox hill hospital, Winthrop Hospital, St Charles Hospital, St. Catherine Hospital, Mather Hospital, Syosett Hospital, and Peconic Bay Medical Center.

He serves on an FDA advisory board, under the Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Device Panel.
